A BILL to amend and reenact section eleven, article nine, chapter
sixty-four of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine
hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to authorizing the
board of examiners of registered professional nurses to
promulgate a legislative rule relating to disciplinary action.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section eleven, article nine, chapter sixty-four of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND BOARDS TO
PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-11. Board of examiners of registered professional nurses.

(a) The legislative rule filed in the state register on the
fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine, under
the authority of section four, article seven, chapter thirty of
this code, modified by the board of examiners of registered
professional nurses to meet the objections of the legislative
rule-making review committee and refiled in the state register on
the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine,
relating to the board of examiners of registered professional
nurses (policies and criteria for the evaluation and accreditation
of colleges, departments or schools of nursing, 19 CSR 1), is
authorized.

(b) The legislative rule filed in the state register on the
third day of August, two thousand, authorized under the authority
of section four, article one, chapter thirty, of this code,
modified by the board of examiners of registered professional
nurses to meet the objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in the state register on the twenty-first day
of February, two thousand one, relating to the board of examiners
of registered professional nurses, 19 CSR 9), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of
Examiners of Registered Professional Nurses to promulgate a
legislative rule relating to Disciplinary Action.
